Wellington 2027 Paint Process
Beginning in 2027, the homes in our neighborhood will be repainted by Leonard Painting. The exact start date for the process has not been selected yet, but it will most likely be in the 1st quarter of the year.
The owner of the paint company (Ernesto Leonard) anticipates completing about 10 homes a week, so this will be a lengthy process with a duration of 14-15 weeks, and, depending upon the weather, it could go longer. Leonard Painting is a well established company and has painted most of the neighborhoods located within Kings Ridge.
Please note the items that will be addressed by the contractor during the painting of your home:

Complete Pressure Washing of all surfaces to be painted

Cover all cracks on walls with conceal patch grade texture

Apply caulking to all windows and trim

Cover all windows, floors, plants and sidewalks to prevent overspray

Apply (spray and back roll) one coat of Super Paint Satin to all stucco surfaces

Apply (roll) one coat of Super Paint Satin to all trim and front doors

Spray one coat of Super Paint Satin to all aluminum soffit/fascia/gutters & downspouts

This project excludes all floor surfaces of front & back porches
This process will follow the requirements set forth in Kings Ridge's architectural guideline 2.9 (House Color Schemes). A link to that guideline is provided below. Also included is the Paint Change Form which needs to be filled out for each home. Links to the Color Schemes available to Wellington Residents are also posted.
